Software Engineer – Full Stack (AI‑First)

About the role

This position supports enterprise application delivery by building and enhancing full‑stack components with an AI‑first engineering mindset. You will work within IT’s HCM Portfolio, collaborating with forward‑deployed engineering teams to create scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front‑end and back‑end application components using modern JavaScript frameworks and Python.
• Implement API‑based integrations and batch data‑processing workflows following established architectural patterns.
• Assist with data modeling, database design, and data structuring for scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, business stakeholders, and delivery partners to move solutions from concept to production.
• Support testing, deployment, post‑release sustainment, defect resolution, and minor enhancements.
• Follow enterprise security, change/release, and testing standards, including ITGC/SOX controls where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 2–4 years of software engineering or application development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with full‑stack development, including Python back‑end services and modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Next.js, TypeScript).
• Experience building or consuming APIs and supporting system integrations.
• Foundational understanding of databases and data structures.
• Proficiency with source‑control tools such as GitHub.
• Exposure to SDLC practices and interest in AI‑enabled workflows.
