Software Engineer, Frontend

About the role

Factory is looking for a talented Frontend Software Engineer to shape the human-AI interaction experience on its core platform. You will work closely with product designers and backend engineers to deliver high-impact, user-facing features that enable enterprise customers to collaborate seamlessly with advanced AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and backend teams to build elegant features using a modern React and TypeScript stack.
• Develop intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that deliver measurable value.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable platform components from the ground up.
• Innovate AI-native interaction patterns and define the future of software development interfaces.
• Own the full lifecycle of features—from concept and development to deployment and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Experience building highly scalable consumer-grade web applications with React or similar frameworks.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week in San Francisco.
