Software Engineer, Frontend

About the role

Ramp is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer who loves JavaScript, web performance, and building beautiful, usable interfaces that power the financial infrastructure for thousands of companies. You will join a fast‑moving team that values high agency, rapid iteration, and end‑to‑end ownership of product features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement performant, responsive UI components using React and our in‑house design system, Ryu.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to shape technical vision and roadmap.
• Lead complex projects from concept through delivery, ensuring high‑quality code and user experience.
• Continuously improve engineering processes, tooling, and scalability of the codebase.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns, and contribute to interview processes.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React.
• Demonstrated ability to ship high‑quality products at scale.
• Passion for turning business ideas into technical solutions.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.
