Software Engineer, Frontend (Agentic AI)

About the role

Siftstack is building a data infrastructure platform that turns high‑frequency telemetry from hardware programs into actionable engineering insights. As a Frontend Software Engineer you will own the product area that brings AI agents to engineers, shaping how they interact with large real‑time datasets directly in the browser.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to translate real review workflows into agent capabilities such as dashboards and analysis scripts.
• Design and implement the frontend surfaces for Sift Agents, ensuring smooth micro‑interactions and a polished chat experience.
• Develop interaction patterns for agentic UX, including streaming responses, long‑running tasks, and transparent agent actions.
• Render agent findings alongside large telemetry datasets while maintaining high performance.
• Push browser limits using Web Workers, OPFS‑backed caching, and custom solutions when React becomes a bottleneck.
• Contribute to a shared component library to keep UI patterns consistent.
• Collaborate with backend and full‑stack engineers on API design for agent sessions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Passion for product ownership: talking to customers, deciding what to build, and shipping it.
• Strong eye for detail in UI performance, latency, and visual polish.
