Software Engineer – Financial Trading (2‑3 yrs)

About the role

We are looking for a software engineer to join a fast‑moving financial trading team. The role is ideal for candidates with 2‑3 years of professional development experience who want to build high‑performance trading applications. You will work closely with product, design and operations to deliver reliable, scalable software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain application components using Java, Python, C++ or JavaScript.
• Contribute to system architecture, ensuring scalability and modularity.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug, profile and optimise code for performance and reliability.
• Develop and integrate RESTful or event‑driven services and third‑party APIs.
• Create unit, integration and automated tests to support high‑quality releases.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Maintain technical documentation, architectural diagrams and runbooks.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and software design principles.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Java, Python, C++ or JavaScript programming.
• Experience with RESTful or event‑driven service development.
• Unit, integration and automated testing.
• CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Docker and Kubernetes container technologies.
