Software Engineer, Enterprise Platform

About the role

Replit is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Enterprise Platform team. You will build the infrastructure foundations that let the world’s largest organizations run Replit within their security and compliance boundaries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement single‑tenant and dedicated deployment options for enterprise customers.
• Build private networking capabilities such as VPC peering, private connectivity, and static IP configurations.
• Create authorization services that enforce custom enterprise policies and integrate with existing identity systems.
• Implement data protection features including BYOK encryption, customer‑managed keys, and data residency controls.
• Develop Terraform modules and automation for reliable, repeatable enterprise deployments.
• Debug and harden complex infrastructure spanning networking, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to scope technical solutions and unblock deployments.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Go, TypeScript or Python with a focus on high‑quality, well‑tested code.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and cloud‑native technologies in production.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking (VPCs, peering, load balancers, DNS).
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools, especially Terraform.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization standards (OAuth/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC) and security fundamentals (TLS, encryption at rest, key management).
