Software Engineer, Early Career

About the role

As an Early Career Software Engineer at Notion, you will help shape core user experiences and accelerate how people discover value in Notion’s collaborative AI workspace. You will work on product features from conception to launch, collaborating with design, product, and data teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, build, and ship product features, iterating based on user feedback and data.
• Improve performance, reliability, and quality of key experiences used by millions of users.
• Run experiments that drive activation, retention, collaboration, and revenue.
• Develop internal tools and platform improvements to help engineers ship quickly and safely.
• Contribute to team norms, code quality, and a culture of learning.

Required profile

• Less than two years of engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Passion for building lasting, high‑quality software that impacts millions of users.
