About the role

As an early‑career AI Software Engineer at Notion, you will help shape core user experiences and accelerate the discovery of value in the platform. You will work on cutting‑edge AI‑powered features, collaborating with design, product, and data teams to bring intelligent capabilities to millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with your team to prototype and ship AI‑powered product improvements.
• Own a scoped productionisation project, integrating new models or techniques, adding monitoring, guardrails, and improving latency, cost, or reliability.
• Contribute to evaluation frameworks, run experiments, analyse results, and translate learnings into product or system changes.
• Build and iterate quickly on AI/ML prototypes, exploring LLMs, embeddings, and related technologies.

Required profile

• Less than two years of engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Customer‑mindset and pragmatic problem‑solving approach.
• Excitement for building and iterating AI/ML prototypes.
