Software Engineer – E-commerce

About the role

Join Gallup’s E‑commerce team to build the systems behind every online purchase and customer interaction. You will work across the full e‑commerce stack, creating modern commerce experiences, designing APIs, and developing integrations that make the platform more flexible and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Ship TypeScript features for catalog, checkout, subscriptions, gifting and enrollment.
• Develop full‑stack features spanning front‑end and back‑end services.
• Design and implement internal APIs that enable cross‑team commerce experiences.
• Build and maintain integrations with payments, catalog, identity and other business systems.
• Modernize the platform through thoughtful engineering, clean code, and improved CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with senior engineers to solve complex technical challenges while growing your expertise.

Required skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• At least two years of full‑stack software engineering experience.
• Experience building and shipping production applications.
• Working knowledge of API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in e‑commerce or related domains is a plus.
