Software Engineer (Dashboard)

About the role

Software Engineer (Dashboard) will build and scale Browserbase’s dashboard and web presence, designing complex UI and data visualizations for a data‑rich product used by customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale Browserbase’s dashboard and web presence.
• Design and implement complex UI and data visualizations that make large‑scale data intuitive.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure the dashboard clearly showcases Browserbase’s capabilities.
• Help define, scope, and prioritize roadmap objectives that improve user experience.
• Establish and reinforce best practices around frontend performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Document work and share knowledge with the team.

• High agency – able to set direction, make judgment calls, and drive projects forward.
• Strong sense of ownership and bias toward action.
• Ability to work independently with high accountability.
• Clear communication in writing and in person.
• Adaptable, quick to learn unfamiliar systems and make sound technical decisions.
• Enjoy collaborating with a small, ambitious team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Background in full‑stack development (Node.js, APIs, Postgres).
• Experience with data‑heavy applications such as observability, analytics, or dashboards.
• Familiarity with UI/UX best practices for complex interfaces.
