Software Engineer (C/C++/Linux) – Contract to Hire

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong C/C++ and Linux experience to join our team in Bossier City on a contract‑to‑hire basis. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise‑wide applications that support mission‑critical operations. Candidates must be able to obtain a secret security clearance and be US citizens.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to research, design, develop, and modify enterprise software.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to resolve technical and usability issues.
• Assist in creating models, diagrams, and documentation for system updates and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality code using GCC, Makefiles, and version control (GitLab).
• Support network communication understanding and troubleshoot application issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of professional Linux development experience.
• Active or previously held Secret clearance (or ability to obtain interim clearance).
• US citizenship required.
