Software Development Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

CACI is seeking a software developer intern for Summer 2027, working on-site in its Oklahoma City office. This is a part-time, on-call internship where the intern works with a team of developers in an Agile Scrum environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed specifications and write software code using .NET/C#, Java and JavaScript
• Participate in learning and coding Workday integrations
• Develop front-end and back-end console applications
• Help migrate complex batch jobs to Boomi
• Conduct impact analysis for software changes and unit tests, and document findings
• Support formal testing in a controlled environment before code is promoted to production
• Work with business analysts, designers and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements
• Develop software user manuals and provide input into training manuals
• Present ideas for system improvements and develop LOE estimates for software developments or enhancements
• Maintain knowledge of back-office systems and their technical changes

Required profile

• Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Coursework or experience in C++ programming
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with programmers, system engineers, test engineers and other team members
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Required skills
