Software Development Engineer (VNDLY Platform)

About the role

Join Workday’s VNDLY Platform team to design, develop, and maintain core features such as settings, notifications, and reporting. You will work across the full software lifecycle, delivering high‑quality code that powers our SaaS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug new features for the VNDLY Platform.
• Maintain and enhance existing functionality, including settings, notifications, and reporting modules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute complex projects.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Support the platform through bug fixing, maintenance, and customer assistance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience building RESTful web services.
• Strong background in version control using Git (Bitbucket or GitHub).
• Experience with SaaS applications, deployment models, and DevOps practices.

Required skills

• Python programming language.
• Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• RESTful API design and implementation.
• Git version control (Bitbucket, GitHub).
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services.
