About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join the Adobe Express Mobile App team. The role focuses on building innovative Android and iOS experiences that empower creators, while exploring how agentic tools can reshape software development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement major user‑facing features using Kotlin, Swift, and occasionally TypeScript within a hybrid web/native stack.
• Develop intelligent agents that instrument code, analyze performance and stability metrics, and surface trends that would otherwise take days to discover.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery, steering agents, reviewing generated output, and refactoring into production‑quality code.
• Define quality planning across the entire app lifecycle, not only before release.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Designers to shape the roadmap and evaluate emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of shipping commercial mobile applications built with Kotlin or Swift.
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript development.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, taking ownership of multiple roles.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM), design patterns and object‑oriented programming.
• Proven track record diagnosing complex, hard‑to‑reproduce issues in production software.
• Experience with multi‑threading, memory management, CI/CD pipelines and automation testing frameworks.
