Software Developer II – Engineering Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer II to design, build, and maintain applications that automate engineering workflows for industrial clients in oil & gas, chemical, and specialty chemical sectors. The role involves creating both internal tools and client‑facing SaaS solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop front‑end and back‑end components for internal and SaaS applications.
• Maintain databases, data pipelines, and automated workflows supporting engineering projects.
• Integrate multiple software systems and data sources across cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid environments.
• Create and customize business intelligence dashboards and KPI reports.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to translate requirements into scalable software.
• Design system architecture, data flow diagrams, and integration definitions.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and reliability using DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot application, data, and integration issues while balancing reusable and client‑specific solutions.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience in an enterprise, SaaS, or industrial setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with engineering or industrial data environments is a plus.
