Social Media Manager

About the role

The Center for Christian Virtue (CCV) seeks a Social Media Manager to lead its daily digital strategy. This role blends journalistic storytelling with rapid‑response multimedia production to turn complex policy initiatives into viral Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify stories, draft copy for blogs, social posts, and emails using a journalistic approach.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools to streamline content production and boost efficiency.
• Maintain a consistent CCV brand voice while engaging the community and responding to real‑time events.
• Direct, shoot, and edit Reels and YouTube Shorts that simplify policy issues.
• Create on‑brand graphics and assets that stand out in crowded feeds.
• Lead end‑to‑end social media campaigns aligned with CCV’s mission and provide data‑driven insights.

Required profile

• 5+ years of communications, marketing, or social media management experience in a mission‑driven organization.
• Journalistic background preferred, with experience in newsgathering or editorial writing.
• Mature Christian who adheres to CCV’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Experience with Canva and mobile editing tools such as CapCut.
• Comfortable leveraging generative AI for brainstorming, copy editing, and asset generation.
