Social Media Manager

About the role

Makeup by Mario is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead its social presence across all platforms. You will shape the social calendar, develop strategy, and collaborate with creative, marketing, ecommerce, and PR teams to amplify the brand’s artistry‑driven story.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the always‑on and campaign social content calendar across all platforms.
• Translate brand and marketing priorities into social‑first plans and content pillars.
• Write clear briefs and social plans for internal teams and external partners.
• Manage partner relationships to ensure deliverables align with strategy and timelines.
• Stay ahead of social media trends and identify community engagement opportunities.
• Brief creative on platform‑specific storytelling and represent the social lens on shoots.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Ecommerce, and PR to align messaging, timing, and campaign moments.
• Serve as a social subject‑matter expert in cross‑functional planning.
• Deliver monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in organic social media marketing, managing multiple channels.
• Experience managing at least one direct report.
• Proven track record in community engagement and management.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and time‑management skills.
• Excellent writing ability for strategic recommendations.
• Analytical mindset with experience translating social data into insights.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with creative, marketing, and PR teams.
