About the role

Join Microsoft Learn as a Social Media Manager and bring the brand’s voice to life across LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, X and Threads. You will craft sharp, video‑first storytelling that educates, inspires and supports a global audience of learners and professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Write and review social‑first copy for multiple platforms, ensuring clarity, timeliness and alignment with the Microsoft Learn voice.
• Shape video‑first social series strategy with senior managers, internal creators and production partners, defining formats, hooks, storylines and scripts.
• Script short‑form videos and collaborate with SMEs to translate skilling stories into scroll‑worthy content.
• Lead audience‑specific social campaigns for business users, students, IT professionals, developers, educators and other learner segments.
• Co‑lead social strategy for major Microsoft Learn events, planning platform tactics, real‑time moments and post‑event storytelling.

Required profile

• Strong editorial judgment and creative storytelling ability.
• Experience developing platform‑native content and audience‑led creative strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior managers, creators, production teams and subject‑matter experts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, X and Threads.
• Copywriting for social media platforms.
• Video scripting and short‑form content creation.
