Social Media Manager

About the role

The Social Media Manager is a hands‑on executor who lives and breathes social media. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role owns daily publishing across all PopUp Bagels platforms, works closely with the Manager of Creator & Talent Partnerships, and leads a Social Media Coordinator while overseeing franchise and local store accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day publishing of content on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
• Manage and respond to story interactions, DMs, comments, and community engagement in the brand voice.
• Oversee social media for all franchise and local store accounts, including establishing local TikTok channels.
• Execute the content calendar, ensuring timely posts that align with brand campaigns, product moments and cultural trends.
• Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, memes and emerging formats, and act quickly to capitalize on them.
• Capture and edit video and photo content in the field at store openings, events and brand moments, delivering real‑time stories.
