Social Media Manager

About the role

Media A La Carte is a boutique social media agency looking for a passionate Social Media Manager to join our woman‑founded team in New York. You’ll work hybrid (in‑office Tuesday‑Wednesday, remote other days) and help luxury beauty, wellness, jewelry, and alcohol brands tell compelling stories across organic and paid channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client accounts on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok.
• Develop content concepts, editorial calendars, and on‑brand copy for multiple clients.
• Produce and edit visual assets using Canva, CapCut, and Adobe tools.
• Coordinate and participate in client content shoots, including on‑camera appearances.
• Support or lead paid‑social campaigns and continuously optimize performance.
• Maintain brand guidelines while delivering innovative, error‑free content.

Required profile

• 1+ years experience at a social media agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Media, PR, Communications, or related field.
• Strong passion for digital marketing and storytelling.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and creating trend‑driven content.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent written communication.

Required skills

• Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok account management.
• Canva and CapCut proficiency (Adobe suite a plus).
• Paid‑social platform experience or willingness to learn.
