Social Media Editor

About the role

The Social Media Editor will own end‑to‑end social content creation for a leading fashion brand. Working from the New York office, you will collaborate with creative, styling and store teams to produce on‑brand, trend‑forward assets for Instagram, TikTok, Substack and other platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Director of Social & Content in monthly content planning, including in‑house shoots and creator partnerships.
• Plan and oversee social‑first photoshoots, develop shot lists, and capture on‑set content.
• Conceptualize and design social graphics for carousel posts and video, tailoring formats to each platform.
• Coordinate with styling, design and store teams to gather employee‑generated content such as store tours and BTS footage.
• Partner with the Social Media Associate to build a TikTok strategy and react quickly to emerging trends.
• Attend events, activations and photoshoots locally and internationally to produce timely social posts.
• Maintain a network of emerging creators—artists, stylists, photographers—for collaborations beyond influencer partnerships.
• Stay current on social media trends and cultural moments to ensure relevance.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation or art direction.
• Deep immersion in social platforms and ability to spot rising trends.
• Strong visual sense with a fashion‑forward perspective.
• Self‑starter who can execute ideas independently while collaborating when needed.
