Social Media Coordinator (Part‑Time)

About the role

The North Georgia Technical College is looking for a creative and organized Social Media Coordinator to manage its online presence. This part‑time role will support enrollment, showcase student and faculty achievements, and strengthen community engagement across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social‑media content strategies aligned with institutional goals.
• Manage official accounts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging platforms.
• Create, schedule, publish and monitor posts, graphics, photos, short‑form videos, reels and stories.
• Maintain a consistent content calendar and coordinate cross‑platform publishing.
• Attend campus events, ceremonies and community activities to capture photography and video for marketing use.
• Collaborate with the Office of Institutional Advancement, Marketing and academic departments to identify compelling stories.

Required profile

• Excellent written communication and visual storytelling abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a professional office environment and traveling between campuses.
• Willingness to attend occasional events outside normal business hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Photography and video production for social‑media content.
