Social Media Coordinator

About the role
The Golden State Warriors are looking for a creative and tech‑savvy Social Media Coordinator to boost the team’s digital presence. Based in San Francisco, you will work closely with Marketing, Content, and Corporate Partnerships to craft and publish engaging stories that connect with fans worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Create high‑quality visual and video content optimized for platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Threads, and YouTube.
- Edit short‑form and long‑form videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or mobile editing apps.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly content calendars and schedule posts across all channels.
- Support game‑day and event coverage by capturing behind‑the‑scenes footage and publishing real‑time updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to align campaigns with marketing and partnership goals.
- Monitor real‑time trends, recommend new tools or features, and quickly produce timely content.
- Research and develop storytelling around players, coaching staff, statistics, and team history for a global audience.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in digital media, social‑media content creation, and campaign execution.
- Strong understanding of basketball culture, team dynamics, and game‑day operations.
- Ability to build positive relationships across all organizational levels.
