Social Media Content Assistant (Part‑time, New York)

About the role

YellowBelly is seeking a part‑time Social Media Content Assistant to bring the energy of its New York studio to life across social platforms. You will work two days a week on‑site in Brooklyn, creating and publishing short‑form video content that showcases the studio’s creative process and client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Film behind‑the‑scenes footage during client shoots using an iPhone.
• Edit short‑form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn.
• Produce platform‑native content that aligns with the YellowBelly brand voice.
• Schedule and publish posts under the guidance of the Social Media Manager.
• Collaborate with photographers and the creative team to generate new content ideas.
• Support social media campaigns and help grow the online community.
• Maintain high creative standards for every piece of content.

Required profile

• Experience shooting and editing high‑quality social media content.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced creative environment.
• Strong interest in photography, acting and creative culture.
• Positive, collaborative attitude with good organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts formats.
