Social Marketing Community Manager

About the role

Susan G. Komen is seeking a dedicated Community Manager to lead daily social media listening, monitoring, and engagement across all platforms. Working 100% virtually within the United States, you will ensure the online community receives timely, accurate, and compassionate support while protecting the organization’s brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and tags on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and other channels daily.
• Use social listening tools to identify emerging topics, influential voices, and potential issues before they escalate.
• Provide accurate information, answer questions, and acknowledge community members to foster a supportive environment.
• Support broader digital marketing initiatives by amplifying Komen’s thought leadership and event promotion.
• Continuously refine monitoring queries to improve coverage and accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong written communication skills with a compassionate tone.
• Ability to manage high volumes of messages with accuracy and professionalism.
• Experience engaging diverse audiences, including patients, survivors, caregivers, and fundraisers.
• Proactive mindset for identifying trends and mitigating risks.
