Social Content Videographer

About the role
Canva is looking for a Social Content Videographer to join its organic social team. This fully remote position, preferably based in Los Angeles, will help shape Canva’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn by creating fast‑moving, culture‑driven video content.
Key responsibilities
- Shoot and edit social‑first video content, primarily using an iPhone, for TikTok and Instagram.
- Concept original ideas, turn briefs into engaging posts, and deliver both lo‑fi reactive clips and polished cinematic edits.
- Monitor US trends, pop‑culture moments, and breaking news to produce same‑day content when needed.
- Collaborate closely with the Social Lead to develop entertainment‑led series and culturally resonant brand activations.
- Adapt to light graphic or meme formats as required.
Required profile
- Social‑first creator comfortable shooting on an iPhone and a traditional camera.
- Active user of TikTok and Instagram with a strong sense of hooks, trends, and scroll‑stopping content.
- Proactive idea generator who can take concepts from spark to post independently.
- Experienced in fast‑paced, same‑day production without stress.
- Background in a corporate or agency environment handling structured workflows.
