About the role
LinkedIn is seeking a motivated SMB Account Executive to sell Talent & Learning solutions to small‑and‑medium businesses. The role is hybrid, combining remote work with occasional days in a LinkedIn office, and focuses on generating new business and nurturing existing client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect relentlessly to build a robust pipeline and develop strong relationships with prospects.
- Create reliable forecasts and maintain transparent pipeline status with management.
- Consistently close new business at or above quota.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan, sharing competitive insights with the team.
- Coach colleagues, contribute best‑practice documentation, and support cross‑functional initiatives.
- Listen to market needs and relay insights to product and marketing teams.
- Take on additional projects and leadership opportunities as they arise.
Required profile
- 2+ years of applicable sales experience.
- Experience with recruiting, HR software, or SaaS solutions.
- Strong negotiation, forecasting, and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
- Proven ability to manage and close high‑level business in an evangelist sales environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a client‑first mindset.
