Sleepwear Designer

About the role

Centric Brands is looking for a creative Sleepwear Designer to develop original, trend‑appropriate designs that meet market needs and drive sales. You will guide the design process from concept through delivery, ensuring collections are produced on time, within budget, and at the right price point.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify emerging trend directions and perform competitive analysis.
• Create seasonal color palettes, concepts, and fabric innovations.
• Develop design concepts, presentation boards, mock‑ups, and color‑ups for meetings.
• Design according to style plans, sales forecasts, and emerging trends while adhering to the product development calendar.
• Produce Illustrator sketches, review specification and line sheets, and maintain accurate design archives.
• Enter and manage designs in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system or shared drives.
• Select and review raw materials, trims, and maintain the fabric/trim library.
• Collaborate with the sample room to create designer and showroom samples.
• Approve lab dips, review prints and graphics, and manage the fit process.
• Coordinate follow‑up with internal teams and external vendors.

Required profile

• Strong ability to translate style plans and sales needs into compelling design concepts.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple stages of the design process.
• Collaborative mindset for working with technical design, production, and external partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Knowledge of fabric and trim selection.
