Site Reliability Engineer III (Security-focused)

About the role

We are looking for a Security‑focused Site Reliability Engineer III to design, automate and operate secure, resilient cloud platforms for LexisNexis Risk Solutions. The role will drive security observability, compliance‑as‑code and AI‑enhanced operations across commercial and government cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain OpenTelemetry (OTEL) gateway integrations to forward security telemetry to SIEM platforms.
• Build and sustain observability, logging and alerting pipelines for security events in cloud and on‑premise systems using Grafana.
• Collaborate on SIEM integration, anomaly detection and AI‑augmented monitoring.
• Automate compliance controls and policy enforcement in CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Checkov and GitHub Actions.
• Create and manage policy/compliance data pipelines, including normalization, drift detection and scorecard automation.
• Define operational metrics, reliability reporting and support incident management for mission‑critical services.

Required profile

• Strong background in cloud security and reliability engineering.
• Experience with government‑cloud compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to develop automated security and compliance solutions.
• Passion for leveraging AI to improve threat detection and operational efficiency.
