Site Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Site Logistics Coordinator ensures the smooth and safe flow of materials to and from a construction site. Working on‑site, the coordinator supports construction teams by managing deliveries, staging trucks, and overseeing material handling to minimise delays and damage.

Key responsibilities

• Gather delivery information and coordinate with construction teams to meet material needs.
• Control truck staging, movements, and off‑loading on the production site.
• Manage the flow of material from arrival to usage or storage, optimising space and reducing handling damage.
• Ensure safe off‑loading practices and proper placement of materials.
• Provide input to the goods receipt process and report results of incoming inspections.
• Support the store manager with stock transfers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of logistics coordination experience, preferably in construction.
• English speaking with strong planning, prioritisation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Demonstrated professionalism, ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including after‑hours, weekends and on‑call availability.

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
