Site Construction Superintendent

About the role

The Site Construction Superintendent will partner with Construction Management, Design Engineering, Facility Engineering and Production teams to oversee all on‑site construction activities from planning through start‑up. This role ensures schedules are met, quality standards are upheld, and safety regulations are strictly followed while supporting critical vehicle and AI programs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all on‑site construction activities within the assigned scope.
• Coordinate daily with project managers, trade contractors, and site personnel.
• Drive the project schedule, escalating construction issues as needed.
• Develop and communicate logistics and operational plans, including Quality Assurance inspections.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment in compliance with OSHA and state regulations.
• Produce daily and weekly site progress reports.
• Keep the job site organized, clean, and safe, including contractor trailers and stored materials.

Required profile

• 10+ years of civil construction experience (site development, earthwork, underground utilities, shoring, foundations, pavement, roadways).
• Previous superintendent experience on industrial facilities, brownfield projects, or tenant‑improvement work is a plus.
• Ability to work in a high‑performance, cross‑functional environment with tight timelines.
• OSHA 30 certification and current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of building codes, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and stormwater management practices.
• Understanding of construction design documents and ability to provide constructability feedback.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling tools.
