Simulation Technician – Nursing Lab

About the role

The Simulation Technician supports the daily operations of the Center for Simulation Innovation within the Nursing Department. This position ensures that human simulators and lab equipment are ready for use, manages supplies, and provides technical assistance throughout the simulation process.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and service human simulators and related lab equipment.
• Manage inventory and ordering of simulation lab supplies.
• Perform pre‑simulation setup, execute simulation sessions, and conduct post‑simulation cleanup.
• Provide technical support to faculty and students during simulation activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation, resources, and professional development records.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in the AAS Nursing program at UA Little Rock School of Nursing.
• Interest in healthcare simulation and willingness to learn on the job.

Required skills

• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot human simulation equipment.
• Basic inventory and supply management.
• Technical support and documentation skills.
