Short-term Internship - Finance Services & Transformation

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is offering a short‑term, approximately six‑month internship within its Finance Services & Transformation team in Herndon, VA. The intern will work closely with the Head of Services Finance (Americas) and senior controllers, gaining hands‑on experience in financial analytics, cost control and performance reporting across Airbus Services in the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial planning and analysis for the regional Services business, including preparation of financial reviews and deep‑dive variance analysis.
• Assist in cost‑controlling activities and performance‑management reporting to inform operational decisions.
• Develop and customise AI use‑case assessments for budgeting, forecasting and predictive analytics.
• Contribute to the transition toward a digitally mature “One Roof” finance organisation by evaluating generative‑AI applications.
