Shopify Front-End Web Developer

About the role

Escalade Sports is seeking a dynamic Shopify Front-End Developer to enhance its digital storefronts across a portfolio of sports and recreation brands. The role focuses on creating responsive, mobile‑first experiences that drive engagement and conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain responsive Shopify storefronts for multiple brand sites.
• Update sites to Shopify 2.0 themes and write custom Liquid templates, sections, and blocks.
• Implement modern JavaScript and CSS animations to elevate the digital brand experience.
• Build, test, and deploy front‑end features, landing pages, and A/B test variations.
• Optimize web assets for fast load speeds, strong Core Web Vitals, SEO, GEO and AEO foundations.
• Stay ahead of UI/UX trends and recommend improvements to the tech stack.
• Collaborate with internal IT, external partners, and brand/creative teams to ensure functionality and a seamless customer experience.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional front‑end development experience, preferably with Shopify.
• Proven track record of building and customizing Shopify storefronts.
• Strong eye for design aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Portfolio showcasing live Shopify pages and responsive layouts.
