Shop Assistant / Driver

About the role

The Shop Assistant/Driver supports the logistics chain by receiving, processing, storing, and delivering inventory for construction projects. This role ensures that equipment and material orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide equipment, product, service, and material orders.
• Pick and pull equipment and material for order fulfillment.
• Maintain stock inventory levels and restock shelves.
• Enter completed orders into the computerized Order Management System.
• Deliver fulfilled orders to construction sites and retrieve tools/material back to the warehouse.
• Inspect tools and equipment for safe operation.
• Offload and enter incoming construction‑specific goods into the Warehouse Management System.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous forklift experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong interpersonal communication and a professional attitude.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
