About the role
The Shipping & Receiver I position is based at 3M’s Indianapolis plant and works the 2nd shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm). This full‑time role supports the flow of materials by handling inbound and outbound shipments in a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial vehicles such as fork trucks.
- Move material using pallet jacks.
- Receive incoming goods and verify documentation.
- Prepare and ship outgoing product.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum three months experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass company‑provided forklift training and retain a forklift license.
- At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Required skills
- Forklift operation (sit‑down forklift).
- Pallet jack operation.
- Basic computer knowledge.
