Shipping Clerk – Second Shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm)

About the role

As a Shipping Clerk on the second shift, you will support the flow of goods through our warehouse by managing order fulfillment, transportation planning, and data entry in our Warehouse Management System. You will work evenings, ensuring timely and accurate shipments for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize and communicate intercompany transfer needs.
• Identify and report customer order shortages.
• Fulfill sales orders using the transportation module.
• Print pick lists and schedule transportation arrangements.
• Coordinate with carriers (road, rail, air, sea) and confirm shipments.
• Perform Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) for customers.
• Maintain ISO and safety standards in the warehouse.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of shipping or warehouse experience.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Effective communication skills for phone and email.
• Capability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with a computerized Warehouse Management System.
• Familiarity with LTL shipment routing and freight classification.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Microsoft Outlook.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Use of scanned pick and shipment preparation tools.
