Shipping and Receiving Clerk

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support its Facilities Management department. This position focuses on procurement and inventory activities essential to the smooth operation of campus services.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of goods and supplies.
• Prepare and stage outbound shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with stock replenishment.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Support procurement processes by tracking purchase orders and delivery status.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and campus staff.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Required skills
