Shift Manager

About the role

As a Shift Manager you will lead a McDonald’s restaurant team during each shift, ensuring that every guest receives fast, accurate and friendly service while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise shift schedules, assign tasks and delegate responsibilities.
• Monitor crew performance and take corrective action to meet McDonald’s Quality, Service and Cleanliness standards.
• Oversee food safety, inventory control and daily maintenance of the restaurant.
• Ensure safety, security and profitability targets are achieved during the shift.
• Communicate shift information to the incoming manager for a seamless hand‑over.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff.

Required profile

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in restaurant, retail or hospitality.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a flexible schedule.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
