Services District Educator

About the role

The Services District Educator (SDE) partners with Ulta Beauty stores across a designated district to elevate salon performance, drive hair‑service sales, and nurture a culture of continuous learning among stylists and store leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual education calendar covering techniques, business acumen, trends, and new service launches.
• Travel to district stores to assess and improve behind‑the‑chair performance and sales‑building behaviors.
• Provide hands‑on training and technical assessments for all licensed service providers.
• Support store leadership with best‑practice coaching to boost guest experience and product sales.
• Maintain a limited personal clientele, delivering approximately 8 hours of services per week.
• Identify training needs in collaboration with the services training team and implement targeted programs.

Required profile

• Active cosmetology license.
• Proven experience in salon environments with a track record of driving hair‑service revenue.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate education into measurable sales growth.
• Excellent guest‑service mindset and passion for the beauty industry.
