Service Technician – Yard Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to work in our yard, performing inspections, repairs and modifications on our fleet of modular office trailers. The role combines hands‑on building work with customer interaction to ensure each unit is ready for delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect rented trailers, document damage and determine repair scope for invoicing.
• Perform repairs and readiness work including framing, finish carpentry, light electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting and running‑gear maintenance.
• Create floor‑plan drawings and modify units per customer requests.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts and equipment needed for service tasks.
• Provide courteous on‑site and phone support, explaining repairs to customers.
• Conduct HVAC system checks and routine maintenance following company guidelines.
• Complete paperwork for deliveries, pick‑ups and service calls, and operate a company vehicle safely.
• Participate in safety meetings, uphold safety policies and keep the work area clean and organized.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and good communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
