Service Technician – The Parson

About the role

Greystar is looking for a Service Technician to support the The Parson property. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and overall functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment by tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety meetings.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in residential settings.
• Experience handling make‑ready processes for vacant units.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and supply management.
• Commitment to following safety and risk‑management procedures.
