Service Technician – The Marek North

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to join Greystar at The Marek North property. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies and inspecting completed work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and coordinate re‑ordering with the maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Ability to follow safety and risk‑management policies and participate in routine safety meetings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Good organizational skills for tracking inventory and documentation.
