Service Technician – The Madison at Marshfield

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of The Madison at Marshfield property. You will ensure that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety meetings.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical or technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventory, and documentation.
• Willingness to work onsite and follow established safety procedures.
