Service Technician – Residential Property

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of its Vista at Trappers Glen community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance manuals and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good organizational skills for inventory and documentation management.
• Willingness to work onsite and collaborate with supervisors and vendors.
