Service Technician – Property Maintenance

About the role

The Service Technician ensures that all physical aspects of Greystar’s residential properties—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position supports residents and prepares vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete assigned work orders promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to reduce future equipment failures.
• Diagnose defects, determine root causes, and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and supplies used.

Required profile

• Technical or mechanical background with hands‑on experience in building maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow established safety and procedural guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure properties meet Greystar’s standards.
