Service Technician – Park at Canyon Ridge

About the role

The Service Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Park at Canyon Ridge property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety and risk‑management meetings and adhere to Greystar’s safety policies.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work on residential property systems.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality of repairs.
• Willingness to follow established procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and manage inventory effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑functioning environment for residents.
