Service Technician – Operations & Facility Systems

About the role

The Service Technician joins Exyte's Operations team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation of facility systems. You will follow Standard Operating Procedures, support system integrity, and respond to real‑time issues across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned operational tasks according to SOPs and training.
• Monitor SCADA systems, respond to alarms and faults.
• Perform container changes, verify specifications, and support bulk chemical/gas off‑loading.
• Refill cryogenic dewars (N₂, CO₂) and conduct daily rounds, recording data in the FM Ops App.
• Manage chemical waste collection, segregation, disposal, and collect samples for particle counts.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in controlled areas and provide logistical support for chemical deliveries during off‑shift periods.
• Serve as backup for colleagues during absences or peak demand and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Technical certification or trade qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar operational role.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically capable of manual handling and respirator use.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Required skills

• SCADA system monitoring and fault response.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems (training provided).
