About the role
The Service Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Complete assigned work orders generated from resident service requests.
- Perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in accordance with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors and contractors.
- Obtain necessary supplies and ensure all maintenance work is completed to the required standards before new move‑ins.
Required profile
- Ability to perform technical and mechanical tasks safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with residential property systems and basic building codes.
- Strong attention to detail for inspections and documentation.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with residents and coordinating with vendors.
