Service Technician for Merano Apartments

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to join Greystar’s team at Merano Apartments. The role involves maintaining the physical aspects of the property, ensuring safety, cleanliness and functionality for residents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies and completing all maintenance tasks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical tasks and work independently on a variety of maintenance projects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Willingness to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
